AP CSP Scholarship Application

Scholarships are available for U.S. teachers to receive $1,500 teacher stipends, free professional development ($1,000 value), and one year of free access to UTeach AP Computer Science Principles ($800 value), including the project-based curriculum, Codio platform access, and on-demand teacher support.

Eligibility requirements:

  • You must be teaching at least one section of AP Computer Science Principles in the U.S. in 2023–24.
  • You must fully complete the professional development for UTeach CS Principles in summer 2023.
  • Past participants of UTeach CSP professional development are not eligible.
  • Teachers at Title I schools will receive priority for this scholarship.

Teachers must fully complete the professional development and be teaching at least one section of AP CSP in 2023–23 using our curriculum to be eligible for the $1,500 stipend and the free 2023–24 license (UTeach CS Principles curriculum, ongoing support, and Codio platform access). Scholarship recipients are expected to use the UTeach AP CSP curriculum as their primary curriculum in the 2023–24 academic year and complete 2–3 surveys. The goal of these scholarships is to increase the number of highly qualified computer science teachers by providing AP CSP professional development and support to teachers who have not previously had the opportunity to attend an AP CSP training.

Scholarship spots have been filled. While we don't expect additional spots to become available for 2023–24, you may still join the waitlist by submitting your application below.
