Amy Moreland began as a Site Coordinator with the UTeach Institute in 2012, offering intensive technical and organizational support services for the national partner replication sites. She began working in a new role as the UTeach Computer Science Program Coordinator in 2016, where she supports the NSF-funded UTeach CS initiatives and team.
Amy graduated from UT Austin with a PhD in Science Education in 2011. With a background in environmental biology and STEM education, she has remained connected to professional science educator associations with her work in the UTeach Institute, and she has served as president of the Informal Science Education Association of Texas.
