Florida Cybersecurity Scholarship

Cyber Florida and UTeach Computer Science are offering scholarships to assist Florida high schools in starting or enhancing their STEM pathways with UTeach Foundations of Cybersecurity resources for the 2025–26 academic year. Limited spots are available so submit your application as soon as possible!

Teacher Benefits:

  • ($950 value) Free license for curriculum, on-demand support, and Codio platform accounts 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be teaching at least one section of Cybersecurity at a high school in the state of Florida during the 2025–26 academic year.  
  • You must fully complete the June 11–25, 2025 virtual professional development for Foundations of Cybersecurity.
  • Your school/district must approve usage of the Codio platform by May 15, 2025. Codio is FERPA compliant, GDPR compliant, and meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Standard at Level AA. It also offers role-based access controls, data encryption, and secure cloud-based infrastructure to ensure student data privacy and security. This information is satisfactory for most schools, but some may require additional documentation or a data privacy agreement with Codio. If your district has specific requirements, please send all required forms to registration@uteachcs.zendesk.com and UTeach CS will assist Codio with completing any additional documentation.
