Ready to Get Started?
We are excited to partner with you and your district! When you are ready to register for licenses or professional development, you may complete the following steps.
Registration Steps
We are excited to partner with you and your district! Please carefully review the planning steps and the registration steps below with an administrator or purchasing staff to ensure you follow your district’s processes and UTeach CS processes.
Planning Steps:
- Budgeting: View program costs. If your district requires formal documentation of program costs, request a quote. An invoice will automatically be emailed to you after you register for the items needed.
- Vendor Setup: Complete any vendor setup steps required by your district.
- Please check to see if “The University of Texas at Austin” or “UTeach Science Program” (UT Austin FEIN 74-6000203) is already set up as a vendor in your district, as the university works with many districts nationwide.
- If you need to set us up as a new vendor, email all vendor forms required by your district to registration@uteachcs.zendesk.com.
- If required by your district, you may request immediate access to our W-9 (please check your spam folder for the automatically emailed W-9).
- Software Approval: Complete any software/IT approval steps required by your district.
- UTeach CS and our Codio partners typically help with the software approval process after we receive your registration, but can assist earlier if needed.
- While most districts do not require additional documentation beyond Codio’s publicly listed privacy policy and FERPA compliance information, you may contact us if your district requires software approval. Licenses include access to the Codio platform. The Codio platform is FERPA compliant, GDPR compliant, and meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Standard at Level AA.
- If your district requires software approval, please send all required forms to registration@uteachcs.zendesk.com.
Registration Steps:
Please complete the following Registration Steps only when you are confident you have fully completed the above Planning Steps.
1. Register
- Register each teacher for an annual license and/or PD.
- After you register, a confirmation email with the invoice and payment options will be automatically emailed to the registered teacher(s).
- If you need the invoice and payment options sent to someone other than the registered teacher(s), check the box labeled “Add contact information for purchasing staff or administrator.”
2. Send the Purchase Order (optional)
This step is not required by UTeach CS, but might be needed by your district.
- Email a copy of your purchase order to registration@uteachcs.zendesk.com and reference the teacher’s name, if your school needs UTeach CS to add the purchase order number onto the invoice sent in your registration confirmation email.
- A purchase order is a legally binding promise that your district will provide payment for the items specified and authorizes UTeach CS to provide access to those items while your school processes the payment.
3. Submit Payment
You may submit payment during the registration process or select the option to pay later by credit card, ACH/direct deposit, or check.
Payment Options:
- Pay by Credit Card: Refer to your registration confirmation email for a direct link to pay by credit card.
- Pay by ACH/Direct Deposit: Request ACH account information. Make sure to check your spam folder for the requested information. You must reference UTeach Science Program: Mark Ramirez with your ACH/direct deposit payment. Make sure to complete your registration before issuing an ACH or direct deposit payment.
- Pay by Check: You may mail checks to the following address (you must reference UTeach CS as well as the teacher's name with your check payment):
